Job summary

Hitachi Rail Denmark is seeking a Signalling Engineer to join the engineering team at Hitachi Denmark A/S. The role focuses on ETCS signalling system design, data preparation, and documentation across the signalling lifecycle.

You will work closely with internal teams and validators, taking ownership of engineering tasks and providing mentorship. A strong technical profile and fluent English are essential for this hybrid role (40/60% home/office).

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Engineering (Electrical, Railway, or similar).
• 5–10+ years of railway signalling engineering experience is typical.
• Excellent written and verbal English communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and review technical documentation, drawings, and engineering data.
• Engineer ETCS and interlocking data including routes, speed profiles and layouts.
• Conduct site surveys and validate input data.
• Collaborate in cross-functional meetings and reviews.
• Mentor junior engineers and support architectural analysis and solution definitions.
