Job summary

Hitachi Rail Denmark A/S seeks a Maintenance & Operation Manager to lead the maintenance and technical operation of the Solution, including monitoring, incident management, troubleshooting, software updates, spare parts, reporting and transition to Maintenance.

You will define O&M readiness strategy, coordinate operator workflows, review manuals and asset data, and ensure a smooth knowledge transfer in Denmark to enable operability and timely handover.

Qualifications

• Experience in operations, maintenance engineering or asset management in rail, telecoms, electrical, control or IT/OT systems.
• Strong understanding of maintainability, spares, asset data, manuals and support models.
• 7+ years in maintenance planning, O&M transition, service/warranty setup and handover.

Responsibilities

• Define O&M readiness strategy, maintenance philosophy, spares approach, manuals/procedures and support arrangements.
• Coordinate operator/maintainer workflows, handover criteria, warranty readiness and post-delivery support needs.
• Review O&M manuals, preventive maintenance tasks, fault response procedures, asset registers and handover dossiers.
• Support transition of Denmark/onshore resources and knowledge into the O&M organisation after delivery.
• Apply the Hitachi Code of Conduct in role-specific decisions, including ethical escalation and confidentiality.
