Maintenance & Operation Manager
Maintenance & Operation Manager contributes to maintenance and technical operation of the Solution, including monitoring, incident management, troubleshooting, software updates, spare parts, reporting, service readiness and transition to Maintenance. Its specific contribution is to lead maintenance concepts, operational readiness, service support set-up, training interface and warranty/service transition.
Define O&M readiness strategy, maintenance philosophy, spares approach, manuals/procedures and support arrangements. Review maintainability inputs in design, access, diagnostics, alarms, asset data and MMS configuration. Coordinate operator/maintainer workflows, handover criteria, warranty readiness and post-delivery support needs. Review O&M manuals, preventive maintenance tasks, fault response procedures, asset registers and handover dossiers. Support transition of Denmark/onshore resources and knowledge into the O&M organisation after delivery. Apply the Hitachi Code of Conduct in role-specific decisions, including ethical escalation, anti-bribery discipline, confidentiality, data protection, fair supplier/customer conduct and transparent records. Lead maintenance concepts, operational readiness, service support set-up, training interface and warranty/service transition. Owns maintainability and operations-readiness actions in supplier scope. Can define maintenance delivery, training and support arrangements within approved baseline and escalates readiness gaps.
Project Manager, Engineering Manager, RAM Manager, Training Manager, MMS WPL and Work Package Leaders. Operator/maintainer representatives, infrastructure owner O&M stakeholders and customer acceptance teams. IVVQ/T&C, Documentation Controller and Configuration & Defect Manager for handover evidence. Human Factors Engineer. M&O stakeholders. Operational readiness/knowledge-transfer sessions. Performance reviews.
Accountable for O&M readiness planning and completeness of O&M handover inputs. Authorised to challenge designs or documentation that are not maintainable or operationally usable. Escalates O&M readiness gaps to Project Manager and Engineering Manager. Mandate Ensure the delivered systems can be operated, maintained and supported effectively after Project handover.
Operations, maintenance engineering or asset management experience in rail, telecoms, electrical, control or IT/OT systems. Strong understanding of maintainability, spares, asset data, manuals, support models and operational readiness. Ability to bridge delivery Project teams and future O&M organisation. Resilience and resistance to stress during handover, warranty readiness and late documentation issues. Lifecycle mindset and customer-service orientation. More than 7 years in maintenance planning, O&M transition, service/warranty set-up and operational handover.
