Job summary

Banedanmark is seeking a Project Manager to steer the traffic planning system's evolution within a matrix IT/OT environment in Copenhagen. You will coordinate multiple workstreams, including software releases, test environments, data migration and transitions to a new product version.

You will lead collaboration across technical specialists, operational users and management, ensuring momentum, risk control and timely delivery in a dynamic railway context.

Qualifications

• Experience managing complex IT projects or programmes.
• Experience working in projects involving multiple IT systems, interfaces and stakeholders.
• Strong understanding of IT systems, software development, system integration and deployment processes.
• Ability to understand technical discussions and ask the right questions.
• Good communication with technical specialists, operational users and management.
• Experience with system migration, upgrades, integration projects or large-scale releases is an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Plan, coordinate and follow up on projects surrounding the traffic planning system.
• Coordinate development, testing and deployment of new releases and customizations.
• Manage dependencies and interfaces between the planning system and IT/OT systems.
• Identify risks, issues, dependencies and decisions across projects.
• Ensure clear planning, defined responsibilities and agreed actions.
• Provide status reporting; act as day-to-day liaison with the product supplier; support senior leadership decisions.
