Job summary

Banedanmark is seeking an IT Project Manager to coordinate a complex Traffic Planning System transformation. You will drive planning, releases, migrations and integrations across IT/OT teams, ensuring progress and risk mitigation in a matrix organization.

You will lead multi‑stream efforts, align dependencies, and maintain momentum while reporting to leadership. The role emphasizes proactive delivery and strong stakeholder communication in a central Copenhagen setting.

Qualifications

• Proven ability to manage complex IT projects or programmes.
• Strong coordination across IT and OT stakeholders.
• Ability to understand technical discussions and ask the right questions.

Responsibilities

• Plan and coordinate projects around the traffic planning system.
• Oversee development, testing and deployment of new releases and customisations.
• Manage dependencies and interfaces with surrounding IT/OT systems.
• Identify risks, issues, dependencies, decisions and actions across projects.
• Ensure clear planning, assign responsibilities and track follow‑ups.
• Provide status reporting and act as coordination point to the product supplier.
