Job summary

Terma Group is seeking a Manager of Production Engineering to lead a team of 12–15 engineers responsible for the technical integrity and continuous improvement of manufacturing processes in a regulated aerospace/defense setting. You will drive lean initiatives, manage capability and take ownership of process performance on the factory floor.

Qualifications

• Technical education in engineering or science (e.g., mechanical, manufacturing, process or materials engineering).
• Experience in a manufacturing environment, ideally in a regulated industry.
• People leadership experience or readiness to take it on.
• Understanding of process control, capability, PFMEA, control plans and change management.
• Strong knowledge of Lean, structured problem solving and continuous improvement; Green Belt or Black Belt is an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Build the competence framework that defines decision autonomy for engineers.
• Ensure customer requirements are analyzed and implemented in production per internal processes.
• Drive First Pass Yield and process performance via structured problem solving and root cause analysis.
• Foster a proactive engineering culture where drift is identified and corrected before affecting quality.
• Allocate and protect engineers' capacity across daily production, improvements and new product introduction.
