Job summary

Kanpla seeks a Head of Hardware and Partnerships to lead hardware strategy and establish key operational partnerships across markets. You will build a scalable function from signed contract to live site, ensuring timely launches and reliable demand, stock, and cost visibility.

You will own hardware commercials, collaborate with Product, CS, Delivery, Sales, and Finance, and drive inventory planning, supplier risk management, and multi-market shipping compliance.

Qualifications

• Extensive experience in hardware operations, supply chain, procurement, or partner management, in a leadership role.
• Hands-on experience with POS, payments, kiosk, self-service, digital signage hardware.
• Proven record of building strategic partnerships and negotiating commercial agreements.
• Knowledge of cross-border shipping, customs, Incoterms across multiple European markets.
• Technical confidence to assess specs and connect hardware decisions to margins and growth.
• Clear communication and experience working with executives and building teams.
• Fluent English; based in the EU.

Responsibilities

• Define and own Kanpla’s hardware and partnership strategy with the Executive team.
• Develop and establish all key operational partnerships across markets with vendors, distributors, installers, and field engineers.
• Set Kanpla’s recommended hardware range with Product and CS based on customer needs, reliability, performance, and cost.
• Own hardware commercials including terms, service levels, pricing, and margins.
• Ensure configured equipment reaches every customer site in time for launch and scale processes and team.
• Forecast demand and set inventory strategy balancing launch readiness with working capital.
• Identify supply risks early and qualify alternatives before they are needed.
• Own shipping compliance for the UK/Ireland, Nordics, DACH, Benelux, and the US, including new markets.
