Job summary

Airtame is seeking a player‑coach embedded software leader to own a slice of the platform layer—kernel, BSP, firmware, and the release pipeline—for Airtame devices.

You will lead a cross‑functional team across Europe, ship firmware to hardware in the field, and balance hands‑on coding with people leadership to grow engineers while delivering reliable products. Location: Copenhagen or remote within the EU; you’ll own architecture decisions, drive releases, and mentor engineers toward growth.

Qualifications

• Embedded Linux and firmware on device-level software.
• Experience leading engineers, setting technical direction, hiring and mentoring.
• Proven track record shipping firmware to hardware in the field with OTA updates.

Responsibilities

• Own a slice of the platform layer, including kernel, BSP, and firmware release processes.
• Lead the team, run 1:1s, set technical bar, and support engineers’ growth.
• Turn new hardware into a shipped product with reliable bring‑up and performance goals.
