Job summary

JOE & THE JUICE, Copenhagen HQ, seeks a Group HQ Controller to ensure IFRS-compliant reporting across the group. You’ll work with External Reporting, Financial Shared Services, FP&A and business leaders to deliver timely insights and strengthen controls.

As part of the Financial Controlling team, you’ll drive process improvements, support audits, and partner with cross-functional teams to enable scalable, compliant financial operations that fuel growth and transformation.

Qualifications

• Hands-on experience with finance processes, controlling and multi-entity reporting.
• 3+ years of experience as a Financial Controller.
• Ability to take on high-complexity tasks and lead initiatives.
• Track record of serving as a trusted advisor to peers and leaders.

Responsibilities

• Own and deliver accurate, timely, and IFRS‑compliant Group HQ financial reporting, ensuring high standards of quality and transparency covering items such as legal, IT and marketing accounting cost.
• Prepare monthly account reconciliations for assigned balance sheet accounts, ensuring accuracy, proper supporting documentation, and resolution of reconciling items within established deadlines.
• Support Group and local statutory audits and the preparation of financial statements.
• Support financial controlling for the entities including review and submission of tax and VAT declarations.
• Own the intercompany process, ensuring correct accounting across all entities and adherence to policies.
• Provide insight to support Group HQ reporting, as well as business decisions, transformation initiatives, and process improvement.
• Partner with cross‑functional teams including FP&A, HR, Legal, Treasury, and Operations to ensure the accuracy and completeness of accounting for complex or judgmental areas.
• Serve as a trusted sparring partner to the Head of Controlling, FP&A and Leadership team, analysing variances and translating financial data into actionable insights that support transparency and performance.
• Identify and drive continuous improvements to close processes, including enhanced documentation, review workflows, and automation opportunities.
• Ensure strong internal controls across areas of ownership, documenting and operating effective controls within the financial close process.
• Foster knowledge sharing, capability development, and a culture of continuous improvement within the team.
