Job summary

Joe & The Juice in Copenhagen seeks a Lead Technical & Group Accounting Specialist to oversee IFRS reporting, technical accounting, and group consolidation. You will craft position papers, advise on complex judgments, and drive improvements across the group with a focus on governance and accuracy.

With 8+ years in technical accounting or audit and a professional qualification, you’ll collaborate across regional controllers, FP&A, and external auditors, leveraging tools like D365 F&O and FloQast.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of experience in technical accounting, group reporting, or audit.
• Hands-on experience with group consolidation processes and multi-entity reporting.
• Public accounting qualification (State authorized public accountant/CPA/ACCA/Chartered Accountant) with Big Four background preferred.

Responsibilities

• Own and maintain the Group Accounting Policy Manual under IFRS, ensuring policies are current and consistently applied.
• Prepare technical accounting position papers on IFRS topics (IFRS 16, IFRS 15, IFRS 2, IAS 36, etc.).
• Serve as the internal resource for technical IFRS queries from regional controllers and FP&A.
• Support the preparation and review of consolidated financial statements under IFRS for internal and external use.
• Own intercompany processes ensuring accuracy and completeness.
• Assist in going concern assessments and non-GAAP measure definitions.
• Coordinate with external auditors on audit queries and memos.
• Support design and documentation of financial reporting controls as part of ICFR.
• Drive continuous improvement in group close and reporting using tools like D365 F&O, Trullion, Konsolidator, FloQast.
