IMC is launching a new power and gas trading business in Aarhus, Denmark. As a Graduate Software Engineer in Aarhus, you’ll help build a brand-new technology stack that supports energy trading—from connectivity and pricing to trading algorithms and real-time data analysis.

You’ll grow rapidly through our global graduate program while contributing from day one to this exciting new venture. You’ll join a five-week Global Trainee Program alongside graduates from Europe, the US, and Asia-Pacific,

Qualifications

• Final year Computer Science or Software Engineering student, graduating in 2026.
• Strong programming skills in C++/Java.
• Solid understanding of algorithms and data structures.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Full professional fluency in English.

Responsibilities

• Design and build high-performance technology for energy trading.
• Engage in the full software development lifecycle from idea to deployment.
• Develop real-time pricing, trading systems, and analytics tools.
• Collaborate with traders, researchers, and engineers.
• Be part of a new Aarhus team and influence its growth and culture.
