Job summary

IMC Trading is building a new Power and Gas Trading business in Aarhus, Denmark, seeking strong Software Engineers to join the team and play a pivotal role in growing this venture. You will help build a full technology stack for trading, connect to exchanges, develop trading systems, data analysis, and pricing, with emphasis on backend, algorithms, and greenfield projects.

Qualifications

• Strong academic background in computer science or a quantitative field.
• 2+ years of professional software engineering experience.
• Fluency in English and willingness to work in a startup environment.
• Experience with Java; Python or C++ is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Build, as part of a team, a full technology stack that supports power and gas trading, including exchange connectivity, trading systems, trading strategies, data analysis, and pricing.
• Maintain and improve the tech stack in collaboration with trading
• Train new joiners
