Job summary

IMC Trading in Aarhus is launching a new power and gas trading business. As a Graduate Software Engineer, you’ll help build a brand-new tech stack that underpins pricing, connectivity, trading algorithms, and real-time analytics.

You will join a five-week Global Trainee Program, then help grow the Aarhus team, shaping its culture and technical direction. The role includes extensive training, mentorship, and global exposure.

Qualifications

• Final year of a Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related degree (graduating 2027).
• Strong programming skills in C++/Java.
• Solid understanding of algorithms and data structures.
• Fluent in English and able to work in a global team.

Responsibilities

• Design and build high-performance technology that supports energy trading.
• Work on the full software development lifecycle, from idea to deployment.
• Develop real-time pricing and trading systems, exchange connectivity, and analytics tools.
• Collaborate closely with traders, researchers, and other engineers.
• Be part of a new local team in Aarhus and shape its growth and culture.
