Job summary

Muuto is seeking a commercially minded Category Manager to strengthen our global supplier network and drive category performance. You will manage supplier relationships, develop category strategies, and work with Product Development, Sustainability, and Commercial teams to deliver scalable, resilient supply chains.

You will lead negotiations, monitor KPIs, and support dual sourcing while ensuring compliance with Muuto standards and sustainability requirements.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or master’s degree in a related field.
• 5+ years of experience in Category Management or related supply chain roles.
• Experience managing international suppliers and complex supply chains.
• Strong analytical capabilities and KPI-driven mindset.
• Excellent communication skills in English.

Responsibilities

• Developing and executing category strategies aligned with business objectives
• Managing supplier relationships, negotiations, and performance reviews
• Driving improvements in lead time, delivery performance, quality, and cost
• Identifying sourcing opportunities and risk mitigation plans
• Leading supplier development initiatives and supporting dual sourcing
• Monitoring KPIs and using data-driven insights to improve category performance
• Supporting new product introductions from design to market launch
• Collaborating with cross-functional stakeholders to optimize supply chain performance
• Ensuring supplier compliance with Muuto standards and sustainability requirements
• Driving transparency and reporting across supplier and category performance
