Job summary

OMHU, a fast-growing Danish design and furniture brand, is seeking a Supply Chain & Procurement Manager to own sourcing, supplier relationships and cost optimization. You will negotiate terms, set up networks across borders and ensure on-time product flow to scale our global e-commerce model.

You’ll collaborate with product development and logistics teams to drive margin improvement, benchmark suppliers and implement cost-saving alternatives while maintaining quality.

Qualifications

• 3–5+ years in sourcing or buying, ideally in furniture or similar product category.
• Proven negotiation track record in supplier contracts.
• Strong understanding of cost structures and margins.
• Experience working across factories, time zones and cultures.
• Data-driven and commercially aggressive.
• Knowledge of supply chain operations and basic logistics.
• Bonus: experience setting up a 3PL.

Responsibilities

• Own supply chain strategy and manufacturing agreements.
• Lead supplier scoping, sourcing and negotiation.
• Build and manage manufacturer relationships.
• Manage timelines and product costs.
• Negotiate unit cost, MOQs, payment terms and lead times.
• Benchmark suppliers to keep options open and pricing sharp.
• Collaborate with Product Developer on materials and specs and find cost-saving alternatives.
• Manage cost breakdowns and margin targets.
• Support scaling through volume discounts and long-term agreements.
• Identify and mitigate supply chain risks.
• Set up EDI and the supplier network with SC operations.
• Collaborate with logistics to establish product flow.
• For existing products: contract and partner relationship management, procurement and planning, cost optimizations.
