Job summary

Maersk is seeking a Network Engineer to design, implement, and optimize enterprise LAN/WLAN/WAN and SD-WAN solutions across a global footprint. You will work with architects, engineers, cyber security specialists, and operations teams to deliver scalable, secure network services for offices, warehouses, and terminals.

The role requires hands-on experience with SD-WAN platforms, strong networking knowledge, and a proactive mindset for continuous improvement.

Qualifications

4+ years of practical enterprise networking experience in a large enterprise, systems integrator, or service provider environment.
Experience with enterprise routing and switching technologies including IPv4/IPv6, VLANs, STP, OSPF, BGP, NAT, VPNs, route filtering and high-availability.
Experience with SD-WAN platforms, overlays/underlays, segmentation and application-aware routing.

Responsibilities

Contribute to design, implementation, and continuous improvement of enterprise LAN, WLAN, WAN, and SD-WAN solutions.
Produce and maintain high-level and low-level designs, implementation plans, test plans, and runbooks.
Configure and troubleshoot Cisco Meraki, Cisco SD-WAN, Fortinet SD-WAN across multiple network underlays.
Support campus networking and wireless deployments including routing, switching, security, and wireless roaming.
Develop reusable configuration templates and deployment standards to reduce risk.
Contribute to automation initiatives using Python, Ansible, APIs, and Git workflows.
Investigate incidents and perform root-cause analysis with telemetry and logs.
