Job summary

Maersk is seeking a Network Engineer to join the Network Architecture & Engineering team in Copenhagen. You will design, implement and evolve enterprise LAN, WLAN, WAN and SD-WAN services for a global organisation.

You will work with Cisco Meraki, Fortinet and Cisco SD-WAN platforms, support campus networks, and advance automation using Python, Ansible and REST APIs. The role requires 4+ years of experience and strong collaboration across global teams.

Qualifications

4+ years of practical enterprise networking experience within a large organisation or service provider.
Experience with enterprise routing and switching including IPv4/IPv6, VLANs, OSPF, BGP, NAT, VPNs and high availability.
Experience implementing or supporting SD-WAN with overlays/underlays and application-aware routing.
Hands-on with Cisco Meraki, Fortinet, Cisco Catalyst SD-WAN and related platforms.
Working knowledge of network security, scripting (Python/Ansible), REST APIs and IaC concepts.

Responsibilities

Contribute to design, implementation and continuous improvement of LAN, WLAN, WAN and SD-WAN solutions.
Produce and maintain technical documentation including designs, runbooks, and test plans.
Configure, deploy, troubleshoot, and optimise Cisco Meraki, Fortinet and Cisco SD-WAN.
Support campus networking and wireless deployments including routing, switching and segmentation.
Develop reusable configuration templates and deployment standards to reduce risk.
Contribute to automation initiatives using Python, Ansible, APIs and Git workflows.
Investigate incidents and performance issues with telemetry, logs and diagnostics.
