Job summary

Maersk is seeking a Network Engineer to join Network Architecture & Engineering. You will design, implement, and operate enterprise LAN/WAN and SD-WAN solutions across offices and facilities, ensuring secure, scalable connectivity and high availability.

You will collaborate with architects, security specialists, and operations teams, contribute to automation with Python/Ansible, and document designs, runbooks, and handover materials for global logistics.

Qualifications

4+ years of practical enterprise networking experience in a large organization.
Strong knowledge of IPv4/IPv6, VLANs, STP, OSPF, BGP, NAT, VPNs, route filtering, and HA.
Experience with SD-WAN platforms including overlays/underlays and app-aware routing.
Hands-on with Cisco/Meraki/Fortinet/Aruba/Juniper or equivalent platforms.

Responsibilities

Design, implement, and continuously improve enterprise LAN, WLAN, WAN, and SD-WAN solutions.
Produce and maintain high/low-level designs, runbooks, and test/rollback plans.
Configure and optimise Cisco Meraki, Cisco SD-WAN, and Fortinet Secure SD-WAN across underlays.
Support campus networking and wireless deployments including security and roaming.
Develop reusable configuration templates and deployment standards.
Contribute to automation using Python, Ansible, APIs, and Git workflows.
Investigate incidents using telemetry, logs, and packet captures; perform root-cause analysis.
