Job summary

Johnson Controls, Global Marine & Offshore Service, seeks a Service Project Manager to lead planning, oversight, and control of service projects within Refrigeration and HVAC for Marine and offshore customers. You will join a team of engineers delivering many smaller projects on ships and platforms worldwide.

You will own projects, drive operational and financial performance, mitigate risk, and collaborate with the Service Sales Team to spot opportunities for additional work.

Qualifications

• Structured and proactive communicator focused on results and customer service.
• Capable of system design and price calculations for full scope installations onboard ships and platforms.
• Able to manage multiple smaller projects with quick decision making without compromising service quality.
• Educational background in mechanical or electrical engineering, automation, or related technical field.
• Experience with technically complex systems in Refrigeration, HVAC, fire suppression, or automation in the Marine industry.

Responsibilities

• Take full ownership of assigned service projects, focusing on operational and financial performance and risk mitigation.
• Collaborate with Service Sales Team to identify opportunities for additional sales and ensure alignment with scope.
• Navigate execution challenges with hands-on approach to deliver successful project outcomes.
