Job summary

NIRAS in Allerød, Denmark, seeks a collaborative Bid Coordinator to strengthen bid capabilities for Danish and international projects. You will manage end-to-end tender processes, ensure compliance, and improve proposal quality with input from a cross-disciplinary team.

You will work within the Marine Business Unit and wider bidding group, contributing to market intelligence and best practices while coordinating with project managers and department heads.

Qualifications

• Experience coordinating bids, proposals or tenders.
• Highly organized with multiple deadlines and stakeholders.
• Excellent written and verbal communication in Danish and English.
• Attention to detail and quality in documents and graphics.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office and digital collaboration tools.
• Positive, service-minded, team-oriented mindset.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate end-to-end preparation of tenders, proposals, expressions of interest and framework applications.
• Implement and follow quality assurance and risk management procedures.
• Ensure compliance with tender requirements, deadlines and quality standards.
• Contribute to proposal development by coordinating input and improving presentation quality.
• Maintain and improve proposal resources: references, CVs and bid libraries.
• Monitor portals and market opportunities; support business development activities.
• Gather market intelligence and sector trends to guide bidding decisions.
• Facilitate collaboration between technical experts, project managers and senior management.
• Improve internal bidding tools, systems and processes.
