NIRAS in Allerød, Denmark, seeks a collaborative Bid Coordinator to strengthen bid capabilities for Danish and international projects. You will manage end-to-end tender processes, ensure compliance, and improve proposal quality with input from a cross-disciplinary team.
You will work within the Marine Business Unit and wider bidding group, contributing to market intelligence and best practices while coordinating with project managers and department heads.

To support our continued growth, we are looking for a collaborative and proactive Bid Coordinator to strengthen our work winning and bidding capabilities, to help us secure some of the most exciting projects across our markets.
You will be part of our mid-size and larger projects bidding teams where, in collaboration with members of the Marine Business Unit, you will be responsible for setting up the bidding process, ensuring compliance with tender material, and achieving timely delivery. For bids that you are involved in, you will collaborate with the bid manager and wider team involved in the proposal to contribute to the proposal quality, i.e. the text, templates and graphics, and where appropriate the proposal strategy towards the end client.
As a natural pre-requisite you will be expected to organise, update and enhance our proposal material such as project references, capability statements, CVs, and keep track of previous proposal outcomes. The latter also includes generating background knowledge on market developments within the different sectors together with the Heads of Departments and Market Directors. Your responsibilities will also extend to online monitoring of upcoming opportunities and developing or selecting appropriate tools for this.
You will have an important role in a strong team of project managers, project engineers and highly skilled specialists. You will be affiliated with NIRAS’ Marine Business Unit but will also be part of NIRAS’ wider bidding team, where you can exchange knowledge, share best practices and support each other on proposals and other business development-related initiatives.
In the Marine Business Unit we work with all processes within coastal, port, offshore, environmental, and ocean engineering as well as climate adaptation. We cover a wide range of tasks including dimensioning of large coastal and port structures such as quays, aprons, piers, breakwaters/revetments, dikes, groynes and beaches, but also offshore structures and estuary engineering with flow and sedimentation in fjords, harbours and bays.
Our Business Unit is international, with offices and teams based in Denmark, the United Kingdom, the United Arab Emirates and the Philippines. It is our ambition to be the leading consultants within coastal, marine and water-related infrastructure, from climate adaptation and water management to the design of structures in and around water.
We pursue projects all over the world, with clients ranging from private investors, developers and international contractors to public entities and donor organisations. Your main focus will be on Danish projects, but you will be exposed to international opportunities as well.
