Job summary

VELUX seeks a Technical Project Manager for the Panes Center of Excellence in Brædstrup. You will steer complex projects from concept through implementation in glass manufacturing, coordinating with product development, technology and production teams across Denmark and Europe.

You will define technical specs, oversee procurement of equipment, and drive process improvements to reduce costs while ensuring robust, scalable production setups. International travel is expected.

Qualifications

• Higher education degree in manufacturing engineering, production engineering, mechanical engineering, or automation.
• 4–5 years of experience in preparing technical specs and procuring production equipment.
• Experience in technical project management and project planning/execution.
• A thorough understanding of manufacturing and assembly processes and their interconnections.
• Comfortable working across multiple sites and cultures.

Responsibilities

• Lead projects from concept to implementation in glass manufacturing.
• Define technical specifications and procure manufacturing equipment.
• Drive process optimization and cost reduction initiatives across plants.
• Prepare and maintain technical requirement specs with stakeholders.
• Plan, coordinate and execute projects on time, within scope and within budget.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams and standardize production lines.
• Travel internationally 40–50 days per year.
