MakesYouLocal seeks a Market Lead to drive leadership at the intersection of AI-powered operations and human expertise. You will lead an international team, keep clients happy, and ensure we hit the mark every day, reporting to the Head of Client Success.

Your experience in e-commerce and customer service will shape how we build it faster and smarter, with AI as the engine that scales across borders.

Qualifications

• 12 months of experience as a Client Specialist, E-commerce Manager, Customer Service Manager or equivalent.
• Comfortable working with AI tools and using data to assess and improve quality.
• Proven experience managing client relationships independently.
• Ability to develop people and build a team others want to be part of.
• Clear and confident English communication, written and spoken.

Responsibilities

• Leading a team of Client Specialists and E-commerce assistants, setting expectations, running 1-1s, coaching, and ensuring the right skills and capacity.
• Monitoring AI performance across client accounts and maintaining quality on AI-handled and human-handled interactions.
• Acting as the senior escalation point for clients, building strong relationships and identifying growth opportunities.
• Reporting to the Head of Client Success on team performance, client health, AI quality, and market developments, flagging risks early.
