Job summary

GEA Group in Søborg, Denmark, is seeking a Process Specialist to join the Business Line Chemical and Pharma. You will be a key technical specialist supporting drying applications for pharmaceutical and chemical industries.

The ideal candidate has a degree in Chemical Engineering and 5+ years of process engineering experience, with a strong analytical mindset, excellent Danish and English communication, and the ability to manage multiple projects.

Qualifications

• Degree in Chemical Engineering or equivalent.
• 5+ years of experience in process engineering, preferably in drying technologies or related applications in pharma/chemical/food industries.
• Fluent in Danish and English, written and spoken.

Responsibilities

• Provide engineering expertise to support sales, projects, and service activities.
• Support on-site product commissioning, site surveys, process audits, and troubleshooting.
• Provide technical support for design standards, equipment specifications, and technical specifications.
• Translate customer needs and technical challenges into practical aftermarket/service solutions.
• Identify, evaluate, and mitigate technical risks related to process design.
• Assist in planning, executing, and interpreting pilot plant tests.
• Deliver technical presentations and training to project and sales engineers, customers and industry seminars.
• Collaborate across sales, project, service, and engineering functions to ensure successful project execution and customer satisfaction.
