Job summary

GEA is hiring a Process Specialist for the Chemical and Pharma Drying unit in Søborg, Denmark. You will provide engineering expertise to support sales, projects and service, focusing on drying applications for pharmaceutical and chemical industries.

The role requires a Chemical Engineering degree, 5+ years in process engineering, and fluency in Danish and English. You will work in an international environment and travel 30–50 days per year.

Qualifications

• Degree in Chemical Engineering or equivalent.
• 5+ years of experience in process engineering.
• Experience in drying technologies or related applications in pharma/chemical/food industries.
• Fluent in Danish and English (written and spoken).
• Willing to travel 30–50 days per year.

Responsibilities

• Provide engineering expertise to support sales, projects, and service activities.
• Support on-site product commissioning, site surveys, process audits, and troubleshooting.
• Provide technical support for design standards, equipment specifications, and technical specifications.
• Translate customer needs and technical challenges into practical aftermarket/service solutions.
• Identify, evaluate, and mitigate technical risks related to process design.
• Assist in planning, executing, and interpreting pilot plant tests.
• Deliver technical presentations and training to project and sales engineers, customers and industry seminars.
• Collaborate across sales, project, service, and engineering functions to ensure successful project execution and customer satisfaction.
