Job summary

GEA Germany GmbH in Søborg, Denmark, is seeking a Process Specialist to join the Business Line Chemical and Pharma. You will work as a key specialist within drying technologies, supporting projects and customers in the chemical and pharmaceutical industries.

The ideal candidate has a degree in Chemical Engineering and 5+ years of process engineering experience, excellent analytical skills, and the ability to work across international teams. Travel 30-50 days per year is expected.

Due to continued success and expansion, we are now hiring a Process Specialist to the Business Line Chemical and Pharma in Søborg, Denmark.

You will work as a key specialist within drying applications supporting projects and customers primarily in the chemical and pharmaceutical industries.

Responsibilities / Tasks

In this role you will be part of a team responsible for process and plant design specifications of drying technologies where you support a high-skilled technical staff of sales and project engineers from first quotation and throughout the lifecycle of a plant. You will operate in a complex technical environment where process understanding, engineering expertise, and commercial awareness are essential. Your primary responsibilities will be:

• Provide engineering expertise to support sales, projects, and service activities

Your Profile / Qualifications

You have a degree in Chemical Engineering or the like. This, combined with 5+ years of relevant experience in process engineering, preferably within drying technologies or related applications in the pharmaceutical, chemical or food industries. You like being part of an international environment working with state-of-the-art customers and solutions. The ideal candidate has excellent analytical skills and an eye for detail and at the same time you are a self-driven problem solver. As a person you are well-organized and able to keep a balanced overview of several projects in a busy working environment.
