Job summary

GEA is hiring a Process Specialist for the Chemical and Pharma Drying unit in Søborg, Denmark. You will provide engineering expertise to support sales, projects and service, focusing on drying applications for pharmaceutical and chemical industries.

The role requires a Chemical Engineering degree, 5+ years in process engineering, and fluency in Danish and English. You will work in an international environment and travel 30–50 days per year.

You will work as a key specialist within drying applications supporting projects and customers primarily in the chemical and pharmaceutical industries.

Responsibilities / Tasks

In this role you will be part of a team responsible for process and plant design specifications of drying technologies where you support a high-skilled technical staff of sales and project engineers from first quotation and throughout the lifecycle of a plant.

You will operate in a complex technical environment where process understanding, engineering expertise, and commercial awareness are essential.

Your primary responsibilities will be:

• Provide engineering expertise to support sales, projects, and service activities

Your Profile / Qualifications

You have a degree in Chemical Engineering or the like. This, combined with 5+ years of relevant experience in process engineering, preferably within drying technologies or related applications in the pharmaceutical, chemical or food industries.

You like being part of an international environment working with state-of-the-art customers and solutions. The ideal candidate has excellent analytical skills and an eye for detail and at the same time you are a self-driven problem solver. As a person you are well-organized and able to keep a balanced overview of several projects in a busy working environment.
