Danish Refugee Council is seeking a Global Communication Coordinator to lead MMC's external communication and visibility across the global network. You will oversee publications, events, and online presence, while coordinating campaigns and media outreach.

The role requires a strong background in NGO communications, excellent writing, and the ability to work with remote teams across several countries. Start date is December 2026 and the position is national and temporary.

Formación

• 5+ years of professional experience in external communication, ideally in NGO/un humanitarian sector.
• Proven experience planning and running social media campaigns and managing social media output.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills with strong attention to detail.
• Strong organisational and multitasking abilities across multiple countries/teams.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office; familiarity with WordPress, InDesign and Canva.
• Ability to develop data visualisations using different software.
• Experience collaborating with remote teams across several countries.
• University degree in a relevant field.

Responsabilidades

• Lead implementation of MMC's external communication strategy globally.
• Oversee MMC publications, events, online presence and campaigns.
• Coordinate communications and provide toolkits for social media launches.
• Draft press releases and maintain media contacts; strengthen media outreach.
• Liaise with DRC Communication and Press offices at HQ and regional hubs.
• Manage MMC communication officers and report on visibility metrics.
