Qualifications

• 5+ years of professional experience in external communication in NGO/development sectors.
• Proven ability to plan and run social media campaigns and manage outputs.
• Excellent written and verbal communication with strong attention to detail.
• Strong organizational and multitasking skills; able to work remotely with diverse teams.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office; WordPress, InDesign and Canva.
• Ability to develop data visualisations using various software.
• Experience collaborating with NGOs/UN and regional partners.
• Fluency in French and/or Spanish.
• Academic background in migration studies and some research experience.

Responsabilités

• Lead the implementation of MMC's external communication strategy across the global team.
• Oversee MMC website updates and social media output (X, LinkedIn, YouTube).
• Finalize MMC research outputs per editorial and brand guidelines.
• Coordinate publications and launch communication plans and toolkits.
• Manage regional and global newsletters and MM R campaigns.
• Organize virtual and in-person events with registrations and promotions.
• Identify opportunities for podcasts, videos and human-interest stories.
• Draft press releases and maintain media contacts.
• Collaborate with DRC Communications HQ in Copenhagen, Geneva, Brussels, and regions.
• Report on visibility metrics and oversee a small team of communication officers.
