Job summary

Danish Refugee Council in Copenhagen seeks an Executive Director for Partnerships, Advocacy, Engagement & Resource Mobilisation to shape strategy, expand funding, and lead a global PAER portfolio from headquarters.

You will lead high-level engagement with institutional donors, private foundations and partners, strengthening DRC’s voice and influence while driving sustainable funding and meaningful impact for displaced people.

Qualifications

• Senior-level experience building institutional and private partnerships in humanitarian or development sectors.
• Deep knowledge of humanitarian funding and policy priorities.
• Proven record in resource mobilisation, high-level advocacy, and external engagement.

Responsibilities

• Set direction for global PAER agenda and translate priorities into coordinated action.
• Expand institutional and private partnerships to secure sustainable funding.
• Strengthen advocacy, communications, and influence with donors and policymakers.
• Lead international representations and asylum/refugee rights portfolio.
• Develop senior leaders and promote collaboration and financial stewardship.
