Qualifications

• Requires a two-year master's degree (120 ECTS) in microbiology, biotechnology or similar.
• Lab experience through PhD or postdoc is a plus.
• Experience with microbiology workflows and wet-lab investigations.

Responsibilities

• Perform ad hoc laboratory experiments testing bacterial strains under various conditions.
• Conduct long-read WGS and metagenomic sequencing for projects.
• Perform DNA extractions and molecular work.
• Maintain laboratory equipment and manage strain collections.
• Assist in analyzing sequencing data and mapping reads to databases.
• Train and supervise students and visitors in lab techniques.
