Job summary

Urban House Copenhagen by MEININGER is seeking a part-time receptionist to warmly welcome guests, manage check-in/out, and support operations across a dynamic, international team.

You will handle inquiries, assist with local recommendations, invoices, emails, and uphold a high standard of guest service. English fluency is essential, Danish language knowledge is a plus, and flexibility across shifts is required.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year hospitality experience is required.
• Outgoing personality and ability to handle guests confidently is essential.
• People-focused approach with a passion for creating memorable stays.
• Team player ready to assist colleagues across departments when needed.
• Fluent in English; knowledge of Danish is advantageous.
• Front office software experience (ASSD, Fidelio, SIHOT) is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Greet guests and ensure a safe, memorable stay from check-in to check-out.
• Be the first point of contact for guests, suppliers, and technicians.
• Answer questions, direct guests to sights, and upsell where appropriate.
• Handle invoicing, emails, online requests, and basic admin tasks.
• Oversee the bar and support other departments when required.
• Contribute to a diverse, inclusive work environment.
