Signode Denmark is seeking a highly skilled Finance Manager to join our team in Sonderborg. You will oversee financial activities across three units in Denmark and the nordic Shared Service Center, ensuring compliance and delivering strategic guidance.

The role requires strong experience in manufacturing finance, leading a team, managing month- and year-end close, and implementing ERP D365. Fluent Danish and English are essential, with expertise in Excel and Power BI preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in accounting/finance or related field.
• Proven experience as Finance Manager in a manufacturing environment.
• Strong knowledge of local GAAP and US GAAP, with SOX experience.
• Fluent Danish and English, with leadership and communication skills.
• Experience with ERP implementations, preferably D365, and analytics tools.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily finance operations across three units and the Nordic SSC (AP).
• Lead month- and year-end close, ensure accuracy and timeliness.
• Develop and implement financial controls, policies and cost-saving measures.
• Prepare statements, budgets, KPIs, forecasts for senior management.
• Ensure compliance with local regulations and audits (SOX).
• Collaborate with other departments and mentor finance team.
• Support ERP D365 implementation and provide regional financial insights.

Signode Denmark is seeking a highly skilled and motivated Finance Manager to join our team in Sonderborg. As a finance manager of Signode Denmark, you will be responsible for overseeing financial activities for our 3 units in Denmark and our nordic Shared Service Center (accounts payable), ensuring compliance with financial regulations, and providing strategic financial guidance to support the company’s growth and profitability.

Your Key responsibilities:

• Manage and oversee the daily operations of the finance department, including accounts payable/receivable, general ledger, plant controller and financial reporting. This also including lead month- and year-end closing.
• Develop and implement financial policies, procedures, improvements and controls to ensure accuracy, compliance and cost saving.
• Prepare and present financial statements (local GAAP and US GAAP), budgets, KPI’s and forecast to senior management.
• Ensure SOX compliance and manage audits.
• Collaborate with other departments, the local management team and the data analyst to optimize reporting processes and ensure alignment of financial goals and objectives.
• Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal financial regulations and reporting requirements.
• Lead and mentor a team of finance professionals, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and professional development.
• Support the Regional Controller in providing local insights.
• Financially responsible for implementation of ERP D365.
• Bachelors degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• Proven experience in a manufacturing environment and as a Finance manager or similar role, with a strong understanding of financial management principles and practices.
• Speaks fluently Danish and English.
• Advantage to be experienced in XAL, D365, Excel and ideally Power BI.
• Strong leadership, problem-solving, analytical and communication skills.
• Ethical, detail-oriented and adaptable.
