Job summary

Venaris Executive Search seeks a Finance Manager to own all financial matters in the Danish entity, reporting to the CFO and acting as the right hand in Denmark while connecting to the global finance setup.

The role covers accounting, tax, compliance, and reporting, with leadership responsibilities and engagement with CEO and senior stakeholders to strengthen the finance function in Denmark.

Qualifications

• Degree in finance, accounting, auditing or business administration.
• At least five years of experience in accounting and tax in an international company with a matrix organization.
• Experience with Big 4, SAP/S/4HANA, OneStream, shared services, IFRS, transfer pricing, Net Working Capital, cash flow, budgeting or project-based finance is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Oversee accounting, tax, VAT, compliance, statutory annual accounts and local audits.
• Manage tax filings, transfer pricing documentation and group audit requirements.
• Lead monthly reporting, budgeting and forecasting; support Net Working Capital management and cash flow forecasting.
• Coordinate intercompany processes and liaise with Global Business Services in a matrix setup.
• Direct leadership responsibility for one employee and collaborate across regions and cultures.

Then this Finance Manager opportunity in could be for you.

Help shape the next phase of finance in Denmark

As Finance Manager, you will take responsibility for all financial matters in the Danish legal entity, with particular focus on accounting, tax, compliance, reporting, controls and operational finance. You will report directly to the CFO and act as the CFO's right hand and clear no. 2 in Denmark, while also being closely connected to the broader international finance setup. The Danish organization has been through a significant transformation in recent years and is now entering its next phase. Systems, structures and processes have been strengthened, and finance will play an important role in supporting the continued development of the business. You will work closely with the CFO and engage directly with the CEO and senior stakeholders, while helping shape a more structured, business-oriented and high‑performing finance function in Denmark.

Your responsibility will cover accounting, tax, VAT, compliance, statutory annual accounts, local audits, tax filings, transfer pricing documentation, group audit requirements, monthly reporting, budgeting and forecasting. You will also support Net Working Capital management, cash flow forecasting, intercompany processes and the collaboration with a Global Business Services setup handling transactional finance processes. The role includes direct leadership responsibility for one employee, while the broader leadership task extends across finance processes, stakeholders and collaboration in the international matrix.

Finance professional with strong accounting, tax and legal entity ownership

You have a relevant degree within finance, accounting, auditing or business administration, such as cand.merc.aud., HD‑R or similar, and at least five years of experience within accounting and tax in an international company with a matrix organization. You may come from a role as Finance Manager, Accounting Manager, Head of Accounting or a broader finance role with responsibility for legal entity finance, reporting, compliance, controls and operational finance processes. Experience from Big 4, SAP/S/4HANA, OneStream, shared services, IFRS, transfer pricing, Net Working Capital, cash flow, budgeting or project‑based finance will be considered an advantage.

Personally, you are driven, structured, proactive and hands‑on. You communicate clearly with people at all levels, adapt your style to the situation and are able to build bridges across functions, regions and cultures. You combine operational strength with strategic foresight and bring the maturity, leadership and social competence required to become a trusted sparring partner to the CFO and a natural financial reference point in the Danish organization.
