Job summary

Signode Denmark is seeking a highly skilled Finance Manager to join our team in Sonderborg. You will oversee financial activities for three units in Denmark and our Nordic Shared Service Center (AP), ensuring compliance and providing strategic financial guidance.

Key responsibilities include leading daily finance operations, month- and year-end closes, ERP D365 implementation, SOX compliance, and collaboration with other functions to align financial goals with the business strategy.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• Proven experience in manufacturing and finance management.
• Fluent in Danish and English.
• Experience with ERP systems (D365) and BI tools is a plus.
• Strong leadership, problem-solving, and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Manage daily finance operations including accounts payable/receivable, general ledger, plant controller and financial reporting; lead month- and year-end close.
• Develop and implement financial policies, procedures, improvements and controls.
• Prepare and present financial statements, budgets, KPI's and forecast to senior management.
• Ensure SOX compliance and manage audits.
• Collaborate with other departments to optimize reporting processes and align financial goals.
• Lead and mentor a team of finance professionals.
• Support the Regional Controller with local insights.
• Responsible for ERP D365 implementation.

Signode Denmark is seeking a highly skilled and motivated Finance Manager to join our team in Sonderborg. As a finance manager of Signode Denmark, you will be responsible for overseeing financial activities for our 3 units in Denmark and our nordic Shared Service Center (accounts payable), ensuring compliance with financial regulations, and providing strategic financial guidance to support the company’s growth and profitability.

Your Key responsibilities:

• Manage and oversee the daily operations of the finance department, including accounts payable/receivable, general ledger, plant controller and financial reporting. This also including lead month- and year-end closing.

• Develop and implement financial policies, procedures, improvements and controls to ensure accuracy, compliance and cost saving.

• Prepare and present financial statements (local GAAP and US GAAP), budgets, KPI's and forecast to senior management.

• Ensure SOX compliance and manage audits.

• Collaborate with other departments, the local management team and the data analyst to optimize reporting processes and ensure alignment of financial goals and objectives.

• Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal financial regulations and reporting requirements.

• Lead and mentor a team of finance professionals, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and professional development.

• Support the Regional Controller in providing local insights.

• Financially responsible for implementation of ERP D365.

• Bachelors degreein Accounting, Finance, or a related field.

• Proven experience in a manufacturing environment and as a Finance manager or similar role, with a strong understanding of financial management principles and practices.

• Speaks fluently Danish and English.

• Advantage to be experienced in XAL, D365, Excel and ideally Power BI.

• Strong leadership, problem-solving, analytical and communication skills.

• Ethical, detail-oriented and adaptable.
