Job summary

Boston Scientific is seeking a Field Service Engineer responsible for Denmark with occasional support in Sweden and other Nordics. The role is field-based with extensive weekly travel (about 50%) and a permanent contract.

You will be based in the Copenhagen/ Zealand region and work on capital medical devices, performing installations, maintenance, and repairs at customer sites. You will diagnose complex issues, provide on-site technical support, and train customers while collaborating with R&D,

Qualifications

• Experience diagnosing, repairing and maintaining complex medical devices.
• Ability to travel extensively within the territory.
• Fluent English and Danish communications; additional languages advantageous.
• Valid driver's license and willingness to travel on short notice.

Responsibilities

• Perform installations, commissioning, troubleshooting, preventive and corrective maintenance, repairs and upgrades of medical device capital equipment.
• Provide high-level technical support to customers at their locations to ensure optimal performance and satisfaction.
• Serve as primary contact for technical service questions and requests.
• Diagnose and resolve complex issues using schematics, flow charts, manuals and diagnostic tools.
• Complete service documentation, maintenance records, reports and ticket closures accurately and promptly.
• Manage field service calls and escalations in collaboration with cross-functional teams.
• Communicate with customers to ensure satisfaction and implement corrective actions.
• Conduct site visits and provide on-site technical support as required.
• Deliver customer briefings and training on equipment operation and maintenance.
