Job summary

Pentair Sustainable Process Solutions is seeking a Field Service Engineer based in Denmark. You will install, commission, maintain, troubleshoot, and repair Pentair equipment across Denmark and occasionally internationally, acting as the technical representative on site.

The role combines mechanical, electrical, and process knowledge with strong customer communication. You will travel frequently within Denmark and sometimes abroad while ensuring safe, reliable, and high-quality service delivery.

Qualifications

Requires a technical degree or vocational qualification in mechanical/electrical/mechatronics or equivalent.
Minimum 3 years in field service, maintenance, commissioning or similar technical role.
Strong mechanical troubleshooting, reading drawings, and basic PLC knowledge.
Experience with industrial process equipment in customer-facing environments is preferred.

Responsibilities

Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on biogas upgrading, CO2 recovery, refrigeration, compression, and related process installations.
Troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, instrumentation, and process-related issues to identify root causes.
Carry out repairs, modifications, inspections, and service interventions per work orders and procedures.
Support commissioning, startup, testing, and performance verification of new installations.
Provide technical support and recommendations to customers on maintenance, operation, and optimization of installed equipment.
Complete detailed service reports, maintenance records, and timesheets accurately and on time.
