Job summary

Velux Deutschland Gmbh is seeking a strategic Finance Leader to partner with the Strategy & Sales Development organisation. You will collaborate with the EVP SSD and leadership team to shape financial strategy, forecast accurately, and drive business value across a global network.

You will lead planning, budgeting, and investment analyses, translate complex data into decisions, and ensure robust financial governance.

Qualifications

Master's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Economics, or related field.
Extensive experience in finance roles within industrial, manufacturing, or international organisations.
Strong background in business partnering, financial planning, forecasting, performance management, and business analysis.
Excellent communication, influencing, and stakeholder management skills, including senior leadership partnering.
Solid digital capabilities with SAP, Excel, and BI reporting tools (Power BI).
Fluent English language required.

Responsibilities

Act as trusted finance partner to EVP for Strategy & Sales Development and SSD Leadership Team.
Lead planning, forecasting, budgeting, and target-setting processes with robust assumptions.
Translate financial and strategic insights into actionable recommendations for long-term objectives.
Drive strategic decision-making through financial analysis, benchmarking, and scenario modelling.
Monitor performance, identify risks and opportunities, and report insights clearly to leadership.
Lead investment planning, capital efficiency initiatives, and gap-closing activities.
Prepare management presentations and decision-support material for senior leadership.
Develop and maintain KPI frameworks and reporting with Data & Analytics teams.
Drive product costing and standard cost accounting processes.
Lead continuous improvement initiatives to enhance reporting quality and efficiency.
