Job summary

VELUX is seeking a Senior Project Manager in Skjern to own strategic development projects from concept through market launch. You will balance business objectives, customer value and organisational alignment while collaborating with senior stakeholders across R&D, Operations, Supply Chain, and Commercial functions.

The role includes coaching teams, managing budgets and governance, and driving initiatives that enhance competitiveness and sustainability.

Qualifications

• Strong track record delivering complex projects and programmes.
• Ability to lead in a matrix organisation and coordinate cross-functional teams.
• Experience with stage-gate, agile methodologies and product development processes.
• Commercial and financial understanding, including business cases and budgets.
• Excellent stakeholder management across all levels and effective communication.
• Coaching mindset to develop teams and individuals.
• Ownership mindset with resilience and reliable delivery.
• Experience managing outsourced product development and external partners.
• Experience with connected products and digital platforms is valued.
• Experience from mechanical, hardware or digital product development environments.
