Job summary

VELUX Group is seeking a strategic finance leader to join as Lead Finance Business Partner supporting the Strategy & Sales Development organisation. You will partner with the EVP SSD and the SSD Leadership Team to shape financial strategy and performance across a broad network of stakeholders.

You will drive planning, forecasting, budgeting, KPI development, and scenario modelling while translating insights into actionable recommendations for long-term success.

Qualifications

• What you will bring includes a Master's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Economics, or a related field.
• Extensive experience from finance roles within industrial, manufacturing, or similarly complex international organisations.
• Strong background in business partnering, financial planning, forecasting, performance management, and business analysis.
• Excellent communication, influencing, and stakeholder management skills, including experience partnering with senior leaders.
• Solid analytical and problem-solving capabilities with complex data and business challenges.
• Digital capabilities including SAP, Excel, and BI reporting tools (Power BI preferred).
• Fluent in English.

Responsibilities

• Act as a trusted finance partner to the EVP for Strategy & Sales Development and SSD Leadership Team.
• Lead planning, forecasting, budgeting, and target-setting processes with robust assumptions.
• Translate financial, operational, and strategic insights into actionable recommendations.
• Drive strategic and operational decision-making through financial analysis and scenarios.
• Monitor performance, identify risks and opportunities, and ensure transparent reporting.
• Lead investment planning and capital efficiency initiatives.
• Prepare management presentations and decision-support material for senior leadership.
• Develop KPI frameworks and performance reporting with Data & Analytics teams.
• Drive product costing and standard cost accounting processes.
• Lead continuous improvement initiatives focused on process optimisation and reporting quality.
