Job summary

SH Hotels & Resorts is seeking an Event Coordinator to support our events team in planning and delivering seamless experiences from intimate meetings to grand VIP events. You will coordinate with F&B, Culinary and Operations to ensure every detail is understood, communicated and executed to the highest standard.

You will manage special requests, client requirements and last‑minute changes, maintaining calm and solution‑oriented focus in a fast‑paced environment.

Qualifications

• You have experience in a similar role, supporting planning and coordination of events, meetings or conferences.
• Prior experience with a luxury hotel brand is a valuable asset.
• You are highly collaborative and work with F&B, Culinary and operations to bring events to life.
• You can clearly communicate event requirements and client expectations to teams.

Responsibilities

• Support the events team in planning and delivering seamless events from meetings to large-scale VIP experiences.
• Ensure all teams are briefed and that planning translates into flawless execution.

As an Event Coordinator, you will support the events team in planning and delivering seamless events, from smaller meetings to large-scale events and VIP experiences. You will work closely with F&B, Culinary and Operations to ensure every detail is understood, communicated and executed to the highest standard. A key part of your role will be managing special requests and individual client requirements, from specific dietary needs and menu adjustments to VIP preferences, special set‑ups and last‑minute changes. You will ensure that all relevant teams are fully briefed and that nothing is lost between the planning stage and the event itself. Strong communication, organization, attention to detail and the ability to stay calm and solution‑oriented in a fast‑paced environment are essential for success in this role.

• You are highly collaborative and enjoy working closely with F&B, Culinary and other operational departments to bring events to life.

• You are able to clearly communicate event requirements, special requests and client expectations to the relevant teams, ensuring everyone is aligned and prepared.

• You have excellent communication skills in English.

• You are confident communicating with clients and colleagues and are able to translate client requests into clear and actionable information for the operational teams.

• You are highly organized and detail-oriented, with a strong focus on the small details that make a big difference.
• You are proactive and solution-oriented, with the ability to anticipate needs and follow up on details before, during and after an event.

• You are comfortable handling last‑minute changes and special requests.

• You are a team player with a collaborative attitude and a genuine interest in creating great guest experiences.

• You work closely with operations s to ensure a seamless handover and execution, taking ownership of your part while understanding that great events are always a team effort.
• You are comfortable working flexible hours when required to ensure all events are handled seamlessly, while the majority of your working hours will be within regular office hours.
