Job summary

Novo Nordisk in Bagsværd seeks an Equipment Engineer to secure stable operation of API pilot facilities and to prepare for a new site opening in 2027. You will keep production running by solving equipment challenges on the shop floor and drive improvements to enhance robustness and reliability of vessels, sensors, heat exchangers, pumps and piping.

With a Master’s degree in Engineering and GMP knowledge, you will work independently in a fast-moving environment, handling maintenance strategies,

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Engineering (Chemical Engineering preferred).
• A few years of relevant experience, able to work independently in a fast-moving environment.
• Knowledge of GMP or experience from pharmaceutical or other regulated industry.
• Strong problem-solving orientation and sense of urgency to minimise downtime.
• Flair for written work; documentation such as change requests and deviations is important.
• Structured, quality-oriented, self-driven with curiosity and opportunity spotting.

Responsibilities

• Solve equipment challenges on the shop floor to keep production campaigns running.
• Drive improvements to make equipment more robust and reliable (vessels, sensors, heat exchangers, pumps, piping).
• Implement new production equipment; coordinate with suppliers; drive change requests; participate in qualification activities.
• Define maintenance strategies, critical spare parts, and calibration requirements; provide input to SAP.
• Conduct system evaluations and trend equipment performance; discontinue equipment when not needed.
• Produce clear documentation and coordinate through workshops and problem-solving sessions.
