Job summary

Novo Nordisk is seeking an Associate Manager for EHS and Facility who will lead the 25K EHS & Facility team within API Manufacturing. You will direct work permits, facility management and safety support to ensure production readiness and compliant operations.

You will partner with Quality, EHS, Engineering and HR, reporting to a director, and guide a team of eight to deliver safe, efficient manufacturing while upholding Novo Nordisk standards.

Qualifications

• 3-5 years of people leadership experience.
• At least 2 years of experience in GxP pharmaceutical production.
• Experience across functions and stakeholders.
• Ability to set clear direction, expectations and boundaries.
• Curious, systematic approach to problem-solving.
• High integrity with focus on safety, compliance and sustainable practices.
• Professional proficiency in English and Danish.

Responsibilities

• Lead and develop a diverse team with clear roles and priorities.
• Set professional and operational direction for EHS, work permits, facilities, security and housekeeping.
• Ensure facilities are maintained, compliant and ready to support production and release.
• Build team capabilities and drive operational availability.
• Simplify workflows and drive improvements.
• Maintain audit- and inspection-readiness and ensure GxP and EHS standards.
