Job summary

International Flavors & Fragrances Inc. Brabrand, Denmark, seeks an Application Specialist (Non Food) to provide technical support across the EMEA region, both remotely and on-site.

You will design and run application trials and customer demos and act as a technical authority on hydrocolloids and emulsifiers. You will collaborate with R&D, Sales, Marketing, Regulatory, and Production to deliver customer-focused solutions and contribute to product innovations.

Qualifications

• M.Sc. degree or equivalent in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, Material Science, Cosmetic Science, Food Science, or related field.
• 5–10 years of relevant industry experience within Non Food applications.
• Experience in Personal Care and/or Candle applications preferred.
• Strong knowledge of hydrocolloids, emulsifiers, and functional ingredient systems.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management in English.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical application support to EMEA customers via remote and on-site engagements.
• Collaborate with R&D, Sales, Marketing, Regulatory, and Production teams.
• Design, execute, evaluate, and document application trials and customer demos.
• Develop new application concepts aligned with market trends and product innovations.
• Deliver technical training and create reports for customers and internal teams.
