Job summary

DEIF A/S is looking for a Test Developer in its R&D Software department to design, build, and maintain test infrastructure and automation for our embedded controller platform. You will work closely with software and hardware teams to ensure efficient validation across projects using CI/CD and AI-supported tools.

Qualifications

• Experience with embedded system testing.
• 2–3 years of hands-on test automation experience.
• Proficiency in C/C++ and/or Python.
• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and automation tools.
• Interest in AI-supported development (e.g., GitHub Copilot).
• Ability to use AI tools responsibly in line with engineering standards.

Responsibilities

• Design and maintain test infrastructure and switchboard systems.
• Develop automated test frameworks and scripts.
• Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines.
• Drive transition from manual to automated validation.
• Use AI-assisted tools such as GitHub Copilot for scripting, test design, and documentation.
• Troubleshoot test environments and improve stability.
• Collaborate across software and hardware teams.
• Improve processes, scalability, and reliability.
