Job summary

DEIF A/S is seeking a Software Quality Engineer to drive software quality in an R&D environment. You will design and maintain a comprehensive regression suite, combining automated regression tests with targeted manual testing across embedded software products.

You will work closely with developers, other software quality engineers, and product managers to ensure end-to-end validation and a reliable user experience.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in testing embedded software applications.
• Hands-on skills in Python and JavaScript and test automation frameworks (e.g., Pytest, Playwright).
• Familiarity with CI/CD tools and Agile/SCRUM methodologies.
• ISTQB or TMAP certification is an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and execute regression test cases validating full product workflows.
• Implement automated test scripts to verify end-to-end behavior and system stability.
• Integrate automated regression tests into CI/CD pipelines for continuous validation.
• Enhance regression coverage using risk-based testing and reusable automation frameworks.
• Participate in code reviews and test strategy discussions to strengthen E2E quality.
• Improve and optimize the test framework for scalable regression execution.
• Collaborate with Test Developers to design and prepare test infrastructure for new initiatives.
