The role emphasizes influencing long‑term technology strategy, governance, and lifecycle management while enabling teams to ship effectively. Hybrid work arrangements may be available.

Qualifications

• Experience designing large-scale embedded software systems or platforms.
• Deep knowledge of embedded architecture, hardware/software interaction, RTOS or constrained environments.
• Experience with modular design, API interfaces, dependency management and lifecycle practices.
• Ability to balance technical, organizational and business considerations in decisions.
• Clear communication to influence engineers and stakeholders across teams.

Responsibilities

• Define and evolve the architecture of a reusable embedded software platform used across products.
• Collaborate with engineering teams and stakeholders to translate requirements into scalable platform capabilities.
• Lead architectural decisions, document trade-offs, and guide teams through challenges.
• Establish interfaces and governance enabling product teams to build independently while aligned.
• Drive platform adoption, lifecycle sustainability, and continuous improvement with metrics.
