Qualifications

• Extensive experience designing and evolving large-scale embedded software systems or platforms.
• Deep knowledge of embedded software architecture and hardware/software interaction.
• Experience with modular platform design, APIs, interfaces, and lifecycle management.
• Ability to balance technical, organizational, and business considerations in decisions.
• Strong communication skills to influence engineers and stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Define and evolve the architecture of a reusable embedded software platform used across products.
• Collaborate with engineering teams and stakeholders to translate requirements into scalable capabilities.
• Lead architectural decisions, document trade-offs, and guide teams through challenges.
• Establish interfaces, extension mechanisms, and governance for independent product work.
