Job summary

International M&E Engineering Contractor in Fredericia, Denmark is seeking an experienced Electrical Engineer to lead electrical design, coordination of LV and MV systems, installation and commissioning on a major data centre project.

You will work with the Project Manager, BIM team and site teams to resolve issues, manage submittals, supervise vendors, and mentor junior engineers, with a strong focus on quality and programme.

Qualifications

• 7+ years’ electrical engineering experience within construction or M&E.
• Degree in Electrical Engineering or Building Services Engineering.
• Strong LV and MV electrical systems experience.
• Data centre, pharmaceutical, industrial or major commercial project experience.

Responsibilities

• Review electrical designs and resolve technical issues.
• Manage technical submittals, approvals and equipment procurement.
• Coordinate electrical installations with BIM, design and site teams.
• Manage vendors and technical queries throughout delivery.
• Complete electrical system walk-downs and compliance checks.
• Support testing, commissioning and final handover.
• Mentor junior engineers and graduates.

The Company

This international M&E engineering contractor delivers large-scale data centre and technically complex projects across Europe.

They are seeking an experienced Electrical Engineer to join the project team on a major data centre development in Fredericia, Denmark, taking responsibility for electrical engineering from design coordination through installation and commissioning.

The Role: Electrical Engineer

You will coordinate LV and MV electrical systems across design, procurement, installation, testing and handover.

Working closely with the Project Manager, BIM team, vendors and site teams, you will resolve technical issues, manage electrical submittals and ensure installations meet specification, programme and quality requirements.

Must Have Requirements

• 7+ years’ electrical engineering experience within construction or M&E.
• Degree in Electrical Engineering or Building Services Engineering.
