LEGO Group in Billund, Denmark, is seeking a Director Privacy Office. This senior role requires a qualified lawyer with extensive GDPR experience to shape global privacy standards for direct-to-consumer activities, marketing and kids’ privacy.

You will deliver practical legal analysis, draft policies, and guide complex privacy projects across the organization while collaborating with the Legal, Compliance and Risk teams.

Qualifications

• Qualified lawyer with a minimum of 10 years’ post-qualification experience practising law, gained in a law firm, in-house function or equivalent.
• Extensive specialist experience in privacy and data-protection law, including at least 5 years applying GDPR in practice.
• Experience setting direction as a senior privacy legal specialist and developing risk-based policies and guidelines.
• Ability to translate complex privacy requirements into clear, usable guidance for legal colleagues and business teams.

Responsabilités

• Set strategic direction in assigned privacy areas and personally deliver legal analysis, drafting and day-to-day work.
• Strengthen LEGO Group’s global privacy programme through policies, standards and processes.
• Provide independent legal advice and sparring to senior stakeholders on complex or high-risk matters.
• Lead or support privacy risk assessments, DPIAs, audits and investigations as needed.
• Build privacy awareness across the organization and coach colleagues while operating as an independent contributor.
